New Girl with the Dragon Tattoo Spot

New One-minute Spot for David Fincher's The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

Columbia Pictures has revealed a one-minute spot for David Fincher's adaptation of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, the first of a planned trilogy.

The film will star Daniel Craig, Rooney Mara, Stellan Skarsgard, Robin Wright, Max von Sydow, Christopher Plummer, Joely Richardson, Steven Berkoff, David Dencik, Alexandra Daddario and Goran Visnjic. Fincher led the production, based on a screenplay by Steve Zaillian.

Plot Concept: Based on Stieg Larsson's posthumously published crime thriller trilogy, "The Millennium Series." The book describes the mystery surrounding the long-unsolved disappearance of an heiress. A journalist recently dinged by a libel case and a young female hacker try to resolve it, stirring up bundles of personal and industrial corruption along the way.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo will arrive in theaters December 21, 2011.
